Republicans Confront Bush

   Tuesday 11 Republicans met with Bush to let hin know he is about to lose their jobs and the country does not trust him now. 

 The NBC link I posted yesterday did work well so here is a better one and the entire transcript  of the story showing how nervous the R people are getting. KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!

The "24" fan in me is a bit suspicious of this story.  While it is entirely possible that a delegation of Republicans confronted the President on the Iraq war, part of me wonders about the "leak" that exposed this story.  NBC news reported this exclusively when it broke but it sounds like the kind of story Karl Rove and Tony Snow would intentionally leak to make it look like the President is listening and to take some of the heat off of the House Republicans.  Also it would give the Republicans an out without making it look like they are giving in to the Democrats.  We shall see...
