Carolyn Curtis

Just retired from 24 years in the tech biz (technical writer). Before that I worked in the vaunted Napa Valley wine industry. Also I have a doctorate in modern German literature & taught on & off for 20 years. Born in good old Chicago; in CA since 1970, in Bay Area since 1980. Married to fellow activist (environmentalist) Don Mayall. We live in a small house on a normal city lot with 150 species of native plants (something always in bloom) & 100 other kinds, like corn, tomatoes, & roses.
