Public Square: Gizmo and Me (Open Thread)

Folks here and at HEP know that for a little over a year now I've been experimenting with something called "Cardiofeedback." Specifically, I've been using a device invented by Dan Winter, called The Heart Tuner, which I refer to as "Gizmo."

The nick name "Gizmo" comes from my first communication with Winter in early 1997, when I began looking for the latest research in biofeedback. Based on a comment in the press by Dr. Timothy Leary, I was looking for a "Grok Box" or some "Gizmo" that can locate the human "Soul."

As I'm bringing Gizmo to DemFest, I wanted to give folks an overview of what I've learned so far.

One of the first things Gizmo taught me was that the heart adjusts its internal rhythm to the beat of whatever music one listens to. This is significant because it demonstrates that if a thousand people are listening to the same song on the radio, all of their hearts are dancing in unison!

The most important thing I've learned so far using the Heart Tuner, is the beginning of the ability to consciously increase the electrical output of my heart and manipulate it in such a way that I can build controlled and focused ascending heart waves. This, I have found is the beginning of Heart Coherence, or as Dan Winter says "Go-here-n-see."

The only problem I've seen with this device, is that just when I gather up enough voltage to where my heart seems ready to fly, the program overloads, and I'll demonstrate this also at DemFest.

The fact that I can consciously overload the program is solid proof that the concept behind this Gizmo works. The only thing that can overload the Heart Tuner is a focused, coherent burst of electrical charge in the heart.

At DemFest, Folks will be able to try this for themselves. Prepare to be amazed.
