Resolutions for MDP State Convention

Hey fellow DFA'rs -- it's time once again to prepare for the MDP State Convention to be held later this month. If you are a local Democratic Party member and would like to present resolutions to the local organization in order for them to filter up to the state party platform, let's share some.

The text of the following resolutions are available for your use at the link provided:

- Resolution to support MichUHCAN's initiative for universal healthcare

- Resolution to support Senator Levin's letter to the President calling for a phased redeployment of troops

Each of these have been submitted to the Saginaw County Democratic Party and will also be submitted to the Saginaw Area Democratic Club, in advance of the county party convention on 19-AUG.

Is there a resolution you'd like to see but isn't listed here? Let me know; I might have one tucked away that's partially complete. I'm currently working on one to support One Michigan United and against the Stop Overspending (SOS) ballot initiatives.
