About Me:
Alison was one of the first combat-trained enlisted women in the U.S. Army. She was in the Signal Corps and then worked as a civilian for an Army helicopter unit in So. Germany following the end of her tour of duty.
Alison is currently a member of Toastmasters International and IL Democratic Women.
Alison has earned three types of degrees. She attended (1) Belleville Area College (aka SWIC) where she studied Data Processing Technology and earned a Associates degree in 1991, (2) Western Illinois University where she completed her General Studies and earned a Bachelors degree in 1996, and (3) Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville where she studied Public Administration and earned a Masters degree in 2000.
Alison’s core expertise includes Computer technology and federal policy analysis.
She believes in 18th Century Enlightenment reason, knowledge, & education for the 21st Century that encourages overcoming misinformation & social injustice & providing responsible leadership to service the public trust in the U.S. & it’s territories.
