"Capitalism is the astounding belief that the most wickedest of men will do the most wickedest of things for the greatest good of everyone."
- John Maynard Keynes
The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.
-Ralph Nader
This country has far more problems than it deserves and far more solutions than it applies.

What did you learn in school today? How to believe or how to think?
Ralph Nader
"Question with boldness even the existence of a God, because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear."
- Thomas Jefferson
If we except where we are we will never go anywhere but down

The revolution will not be televised,it will be from the television itself

Its not that Bush dosn't care about Black people it's that he dosn't care about poor people.

A wise person is never set in their ways nor do they claim to have all the facts. Just as history will always be re-written due to upcoming revelations; so will public opinion due to the realisation of the world's fate. Good for one will be evil in the eyes of another. Untill the tides change the vehicle of power from force and might to wisdom and knowledge; will evil becomes good in the eyes of the righteous.

Political science is 99% psychology and 1% history.

About Me:
My real name is Matt but all my close friends call me Jimbo. The main reasons I made a profile is to meet new politically minded people because all my Friends look at me funny when I talk politics.
I lend my skills to Hanover Democratic Township Voters, a political office in Streamwood,IL and would be happy to hear from you with any questions you may have.
I spend my days in school or at work. For fun I hang at any bar with a dance floor and dollar drinks with my good friends Joe, Jerry, Dante, Scott and Brian
I ride BMX and never wear jeans. I dress in Bmx/Snowboarding t-shirts and slacks. I am caught somewhere between the late 80's to mid 90's and have funny hair to match my unwillingnes to except the 21st century. Along with trying to bring kaki back to combat little boys in girl pants. I Ride BMX under the name BMXican and work at a bike and ski shop under the title of glorified bag boy.
I am a capitalist who believes in free education and subsidized health care for the poor. I fall more to the right on some key issues but believe when the time comes, people should band together and improve our health and educational systems. Until then, the people don't deserve all the rights and responsibility’s liberals hold so dear.
I believe our government lies to us but progresses us as a people. A person is rational, the people are not. If one really wants to know the truth they should look into it themselves and come to their own conclusion.
One day; People will get off their couches, step out side the front door. Look at the neighbor to the left, then to the right and what ever direction they stand; Start to Work together to improve life and at that time will we deserve a true Republic. Until then we need corporations to sponsor our government in order to baby-sit this country. I believe it is too soon in our development as a nation to achieve the perfect utopia.
I don’t give a shit what our founding fathers did hundreds of years ago. The fact is we are an ignorant people who are entertained by a box with shiny lights. Wake the fuck up and stop believing everything with a catchy beat.
Also remember not all people are sheep. Some of us are wolfs while others are the herders. Which one are you?
If we currently live in The Information Age I believe the next age will be coined The Age of Wisdom. Like the transitions from high school to college, our purpose in the world changes from sponges of knowledge to rinses of wisdom. We take the knowledge we adsorbed from the community, then convent this information to new Ideas that fill the bucket we call culture, but remember "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man”.
The next stage of evolution will not progress on its own. All accomplishments of man resulted in the revolution of new ideas. From the wheel to the atom, Evolution stemmed from a person who trained them self to think outside the box. Take a chance and question all unreasonable Ideas no matter how taboo our culture demes them. Can Man put it's self in front of animals and before God when; as a whole they can't obtain any virtues of humanity.
With out crudity, we will not fight, with our norms in sight, we will not run; as a mule will not travel ahead of his master. Our leaders are guiding us with the pursuable carrot of material positions, while blocking our field of vision in the form of corporate owned media. Our leaders guide us into labor, then to the glue factory. Until one day a glitch will occur and one person will obtain the information that the masses will convert to wisdom, and then will we reach the next stage, as was the case in all of history. “The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers”
