About Me:

Born and raised in Southern Idaho, upon graduating from Idaho Falls High School, I volunteered for active duty in the United States Air Force. Serving in the military as an Avionics Technician Specialist on the B1-Bomber was a memorable time and I learned a lot from the experience. Following military service, I attended Boise State University, becoming heavily involved in both the Boise community, through volunteer activities, and the university policy making process, as Student Body President. Following graduation at BSU, I attained a Masters of Public Affairs from Indiana University. Since then, I have acquired over 5 years of combined experience at the federal, state, and private level in policy analysis, program evaluation, and internal auditing. Presently, I work for Idaho Power Company in Audit Services.

I am an independent, open-minded advocate for progressive reform. I love this country and believe in good Idaho values. Although I stand firm in my support of the Democratic Party, I also support several good Republicans, such as Chuck Hagel (U.S. Senator, Nebraska). I am fiscally conservative, supporting low taxes and responsible spending. However, I also believe strongly in protecting our environment, the right to a good education, good health care for the underprivileged, and social equality for ALL Americans.

Above all else, I like to enjoy time with my wife, friends, and family.
