About Me:

First and formost I am and always will be a US Marine. I served from 1990-1994 and participated in Operation: Restore Hope in Somalia from 1992-1993. Issues that concern servicemembers and veterans are important to me personally and professionally and I will always do what I can for my brothers, sisters, and their loved ones.

I am an active member of the Marine Corps League, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Through these wonderful organizations I do what I can to help veterans, disabled children, and their families. I am also a mentor for Marines through the Marine for Life organization, and I am able to assist Marine veterans and their families make the transition from military life to civilian life.

Professionally I work in the financial services industry and enjoy working with everyday people to help them achieve their financial goals and to protect their loved ones in the event of the unthinkable.

When it comes to issues I've been called fiscally conservative and socially progressive, but the truth is I don't make my decisions based on labels. I strive to do and support what I believe is right regardless of what I may be called for it.
