Asheville DFA meeting Wed March 1st --plan to attend!

Hello All,

Asheville Democracy for America (DFA), will be meeting Wed., March 1st, 7:00pm at the West Asheville Library at 942 Haywood Road.

Agenda
Meet the candidate: Heath Shuler, district 11 congressional candidate, comes to West Asheville to introduce himself and to hear from voters. We will have a moderator to assure good use of our hour and to give a chance for each attendee to ask a question . Come prepared to share your top three concerns or issues with candidate Shuler.

Democracy Fundamentals: Voting machine expert, systems engineer, author, publisher David Allen is coming up from High Point to share his expertise. David was the tech consultant to Bev Harris for her book "Black Box Voting: Vote Fraud in the 21st Century" (later acting as co-author). In 2004 he was invited to serve on the NC Joint Select committee which crafted S223, the Public Confidence in Voting Act, which is now the toughest law in the country. David is also the webmaster of BlackBoxVoting.com which tracks news on voting machine issues.
