DFA meeting this Wed Aug 2

Hello folks,

Just a heads up that Asheville DFA's next meeting is this Wednesday, August 2, 7 pm, at the West Asheville Library, 942 Haywood Road.

With the November elections looming, campaigns will be gearing up and DFA hopes you will get involved to help put socially progressive, fiscally responsible candidates into local, state and federal office.

Wed Aug 2 Agenda

DFA welcomes Rep. Susan Fisher, NC State House representative for District 114. Susan will listen to our concerns and discuss what the NC legislature has been doing

Endorsements: at this meeting our group will decide which candidates we want to endorse. Please come and be heard.

Activist Training: We will develop and hone our phone banking skills, and if time allows, do a Letter To The Editor workshop.

We hope that you will choose to make time to work with us to build a more accountable, responsive and transparent government.
