Why are we watching our county go down hill.

The news does not get any better for citizens and employees of Jefferson County. Even though 3 of the 5 County Commissioners are Republican, I still don't see where any of them are doing anything worthwhile. I still must give Commissioner Bell credit for wanting to declare bankruptcy last year when he initially took office. I feel that the seating four didn't want bankruptcy declared because it would have cause too much attention on the 'books'.  Even our Republican Governor, Riley, thought that the county needed someone to oversee the day to day business of the county. The commissioners were vehemently opposed to that. What do they have to hide? It's pretty clear they are doing a very poor job of managing the day to day operations. So you tell me what you think the problem is, I think it's the commissioners and there lack of any kind of business knowledge.  Talk amongst yourselves!!!!!!
