Iraq for Sale as fundraiser
Linked to groups: DFA Film Club
Would it be permissible to charge admission to a showing of "Iraq for Sale" in order to raise funds for our link group, Democracy for Monroe County?

By Charles Chamberlain on Oct 13, 2006 10:22 AM EDTHowever, if you show it in a movie theater, then you are supposed to split 35% off for Brave New Films. If you plan to show it in a movie theater and charge admission, please contact them directly to discuss how to work it out.

Otherwise, fundraise fundraise fundraise!
I heard one screening brought in as much as $1000. Here is Burlington we raised $50, which covered all the costs plus a little.
Good luck!
