- T Boone Pickens...
By Annilow on Jul 8, 2008 9:33 PM EDTT Boone Pickens is this rich guy - an oil man I think. He self financed an ad I watched believe on CNN tonight about how we have to do something NOW about oil dependency. He is emphasizing natural gas and wind power. He is not looking for long term solutions so much as something interim - like triage I guess - to get us through till we can do something permanent. Sounds practical to me. Give a look. There's about a 4 minute video that's not too painful that gives a pretty good overview:

Of course one has to wonder if he's invested his 'rocks' in natural gas -- but still it sounds practical -- we have tons of natural gas and he gives a good sales talk for wind for sure.
