He looked good, but the magic wasn't there.  I think it was because other people were putting words in his mouth. I prefer Howard's words in Howard's mouth.  So many of the themes of four years ago would have been appropriate.

I actually called the school registrar to see if I could register my son for school tomorrow rather than this evening.  I told her I couldn't miss the speeches tonight.  Gave her a giggle.  Phew.  So I get to enjoy Howard, Al and Barack.
