U.S. House, MI-10
Angela Rogensues was born and raised in Macomb County and is currently serving her first term on the Warren City Council. On the Council, Angela introduced the bill to create the Veterans Affairs Commission, connecting veterans with the care and services they need. In February 2021, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer appointed Angela Chair of the Board and Executive Committee of the Michigan Municipal Services Authority. She also co-chairs the Michigan AFL-CIO Labor Caucus.
Angela is running because we need elected leaders who are willing to work across the aisle to get things done for America and put people at the center of our work. She is running because women and a younger generation are still vastly underrepresented in our elected officials in DC and across the country. She is running because I believe so strongly in the values of the Democratic party and know that we need champions to ensure those values are reflected in our policy.
